Guided Walking Breaks in the Yorkshire Dales

We are a small, friendly company whose aim is simple - to provide the best guided walking holidays anywhere. We think we offer something unique; that is, we use bases in lovely towns on the edge of the National Park so that you have the best of both worlds. By day fantastic drives and walks and by night all the leisure facilities provided by the hotels plus great pubs, bars and restaurants in the towns. In addition, the towns we've chosen are quiet, friendly and great to explore on foot.

The walks will be easy to moderate and at a relaxing pace. You don't need to be super fit to come on our holidays , anyone with a good general level of fitness will be fine.

We can accommodate any group size from 2 upwards for any length of stay. You decide where and how far you wish to walk each day. Alternatively, you can leave things up to us and we'll take you on our favourite walks in each dale. You may want to do one long walk each day, or two shorter ones with lunch at a pub in the middle.

We also aim to show you as much of the dales as possible. If you leave the choice of walks to us we'll take you to a different dale each day. Over 4 or 5 days it's possible to walk most of the main dales.

On a longer break you may not wish to walk every day. That's fine because there's a tremendous amount of fantastic places to visit in and around the dales. Click on the links page to see what we mean. If a trip, to say, Castle Howard or to Fountains Abbey appeals we can arrange this for you. Many of the places we've listed can also be incorporated into a walk.

The hotels have been carefully chosen for their style and comfort and the towns for their beauty, charm and leisure facilities. In Harrogate we use the Cedar Court Hotel, in Ilkely The Craiglands and in Skipton the Rendezvous.

Yorkshire has it all - breathtaking river valleys, moors, mountains, waterfalls, castles, stately homes, ruined abbeys, steam railways, the list is endless. You won't fail to be captivated by this fantastic part of the world.
